These fish eat diatoms. They cannot be caught on bait unless they are conditioned to eating it. Therefore you have to use a net for the wild caught fish. You will have better chances to get larger fish at dusk. The will be unable to see any shadow cast by the cast net. Still don't belive me. Check this out several fish wild caught over five pounds. My foot is a size 12 I caught all these fish in about 5 minutes with my cast net.
