Dangers of invasive species!!!

I do not know where you are from as you read this but I need to get something out. There are a lot if invasive species down here in Florida where I am from. We have all kinds but I think that the most are from the fish world. They have found snake head, wolf fish, various tilapia species, armored catfish and several other invasive species here. Typically this might not present much of a problem because the environmental factors act like a controlling mechanism for the species that is out of place. Oh yeah wait a minute that was supposed to work with the tilapia species. So what actually happened? Natural selection kicked in and we have a cold resistant strain of the species down here now. But at least tilapia tastes good and doesn't eat the other game fish like the snake heads and wolf fish. One way you can help your local authorities keep up with this sort of thing is to report when you see these invasive fish. Good luck and happy fishing!!
